Google Trends: lines for free coffee are as long as lines to vote

Starbucks hasn't lost its dazzle.

It may have had to close stores, but it still knows how to ride a trend.

Its decision to give away free coffee to voters, as part of a campaign to encourage voting, is one of today's hot Google trends, as you can here.

People are talking about getting their free coffee on social networks, nearly as much as they are talking about voting.

Clever marketing, isn't it?

It has taken the one positive, fun thing happening in the United States right now (and there isn't much of that) and linked its brand to a great cause.
