Often overlooked way to pull prospects

Guest post by Christian Schappel, editor, The Marketing Report.

One Marketing tool I always thought was overlooked, and underutilized, when it came to attracting prospects to company Web sites is personal business cards.

Often they contain URLs, but are rarely appealing enough to entice a prospect to visit a company’s home page. The ones I’ve received recently certainly aren’t.

At any trade show, prospects will receive a stack of business cards from companies looking to add them to their list of customers. And while prospects are enthusiastic about collecting them, no one looks forward to sifting back through them.

So how do you create a business card worth revisiting and make it appealing enough to entice prospects to visit your site?

I thought this Web site had some great ideas (some very smart, some off-the-wall and some just plain funny), and I had to share it with you. Personally, I’m a big fan of the constructible and organic designs. Enjoy!
