The pipes, the pipes are burning ... with your name, your brand and your reputation

What did they put in this pipe? Photo from www.bivens.ca Wouldn't you like to have a "big, fat, wide-reaching net of social media searches to alert you every time your brand or product is mentioned by anybody on a slew of social media sites, including flickr, twitter, friendfeed, digg etc.?"

Now you can watch how viral marketing takes you around the world in no time. Take a look at this pipe that shows who's talking about Salesforce.com. (By the way, the quote above is from its creator, Kingsley.)

Mindblowing. Great chart from Church of the Customer showing how online word spreads. The pipe provides a roadmap to who's saying what, who's posting videos, photos, comments, about your company across the world even in little old Goulburn, Australia, not far from my old stomping ground in Canberra.

And you can see how people linked to others.

Even better, if you go to the Church of the Customer blog, you'll find instructions on how to do the same for your company, brand, product, service, executive, CEO, etc.

By the way, if you are interested in viral marketing, Church of the Customer has launched a new online community, which I have just joined. Be sure to look me up.
