Update on using YouTube as a b2b marketing channel

Viral marketing for b2b?

Yes, it can be done, it is being done, and it is being done by DuPont.
Here is DuPont's Gary Spangler talking about it. Gary was the person who suggested b2b companies load all their videos on YouTube. He's done it with some amazing success. But more on that another time. His point is that YouTube has become the place prospects go when they are searching for a video. He makes an interesting point about convergence between b2b and b2c marketing.
